Dust bags are components of a dry dust filtering device suitable for capturing extremely small, dry, non-fibrous dust. Dust bags are generally made of textile filter cloth and non-textile felt, and can be divided into three categories according to the use temperature:
Normal temperature dust bags: mainly made of polypropylene, polyester and other filter materials through non-woven and textile processes, with good air permeability, smooth surface, good dimensional stability, dust is not easy to adhere and easy to peel off and other excellent properties. Mainly used in normal temperature industries with general dust pollution and normal temperature flue gas treatment.
Medium temperature dust bags: mainly made of acrylic filter material short fibers and acrylic base cloth needle punching process, widely used in the medium temperature field and medium temperature Mite dust bags, suitable for various dust pollution industries and medium temperature harsh working conditions and other fields.
High temperature dust bag: mainly made of P84, PPS, expanded glass fiber, ultrafine glass fiber, PTFE and other high temperature resistant fibers through weaving and non-woven processes, with good thermal stability, high filtration efficiency and long service life. After coating, it also has excellent characteristics such as corrosion resistance, water and oil repellency, and anti-static. It is mainly used for dust removal under various high temperature flue gas conditions and harsh working conditions.
Different industries have different regulations on dust emission standards. According to the different properties of dust and the production characteristics of various industries, the dust bags used in each industry are different.
Application of boilers and coal-fired power plants: Domestic boilers and coal-fired power plants originally used electrostatic precipitators to treat dusty flue gas. Later, it was found that electrostatic precipitators were often affected by working conditions, resulting in unstable dust removal effects. Electric bag dust collectors or point bag composite dust collectors are now widely used. Because the dust-containing flue gas volume is large and the composition is complex, the flue gas temperature is very high, and the bag needs to be resistant to 180℃~200℃. Therefore, high-temperature dust removal bags with corrosion resistance, electrical resistance and oxidation resistance are generally selected. PPS dust removal bags are widely used.
Application in steel production: The flue gas concentration in the steel industry is large, the dust is high, and it has the characteristics of stickiness and fineness. The working temperature of different furnaces is different. Some working conditions only require the dust removal bag to be resistant to 150℃~200℃, and some working conditions require the bag to be able to withstand temperatures above 300℃. The performance requirements of the bag are relatively low. Whether to use medium-temperature dust removal bags or high-temperature dust removal bags depends on the working temperature. The dust removal bags that are widely used include Nomex, glass fiber/P84 composite needle felt, pure glass fiber filter material, etc.
Application in cement building materials industry: Cement plants have multiple links in production, but the dusty flue gas temperature is very high in any link, and contains a large amount of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, hydrofluoric acid and other substances that are easy to corrode bags. Generally, corrosion-resistant, acid-resistant and high-temperature-resistant dust bags are selected. The most commonly used are glass fiber coated dust bags.
Application in non-ferrous metal industry: The non-ferrous metal industry produces a large amount of pollutants in production. These pollutants contain corrosive components, and metal particles have a certain degree of abrasiveness. Therefore, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant dust bags are generally selected, such as PTFE, Fluorometh, Metas, etc., and the filter material is coated or acid-resistant when necessary.
